(The above article from the Seattle PI states that Seattle Animal Shelter is a "kill shelter". Seattle Animal Shelter has a great adoption program and is only euthanizing badly injured or unadoptable animals. The Parks Dept. never stated that they had funds for this project. "Bunny abortions" is an inflamatory term. Neither we nor our veterinarians have any way of knowing if a rabbit we pick up is pregnant or not until after the spay surgery is already in process.)
